An immense flooded plain covers parts of Brasil, Bolivia and Paraguay. In the Wet Season, this area is flooded by the overflow of its many water courses: this is the time of an explosion of colors on its rich flora. At the Dry Season, small lakes become the food supply to a large diversity of animals, including migratory birds from all over the Planet. Accounting 700 species of birds as well as a large variety of mammals (Jaguars, Anteaters, Giant Otters), reptiles (Caiman) and others, the Pantanal hosts one of the largest diversity of wildlife in Americas.
